Background

Kate Nowlan graduated from Rowan University in 2010 with her B.A with High Honors in Psychology and concentrations in both Honors Studies and Leadership Studies. During her time at Rowan University, Kate was a research assistant in a mood disorders lab.  Her senior thesis was entitled "Predicting Relationship Quality: The Role of Attachment Style, Early Maladaptive Schemas, and Depression Symptoms" which investigated whether attachment, depression, and early maladaptive schemas contribute unique variance to the prediction of relationship quality in romantic relationships.


In the future, Kate plans to attend graduate school in clinical psychology with a focus on mood disorders and marital/family research.  Kate joined the Psychosocial research team in June 2010.
